It has been two years since I had to admit to myself I couldn’t hear well anymore and I came to visit you. I held on to the hope that you would tell me that it wasn’t that bad and to come back later. But alas it was that bad after all. You suggested the behind the ear model that I could wear home that day. No ear molds and no waiting. Good, get it done. And then you explained how I would be able to stream sound through my hearing instruments from the TV, telephone, music players and I am eager to try it all. Now I would be able to do crafts while watching TV and never miss a word of dialog and stream music while I’m reading a book or cooking dinner. This hasn’t turned out so bad after all. Thank you, Dr. Cox for letting me find my own way by setting the sound levels to my comfort and not insisting on the computer guidelines. You’ve always made it about what works for me and I am grateful!
